Music is coloured by the place and time in which it is created. In late June and early July 2009 Amanda and I got married, took a two-week honeymoon in Ireland, and had the chance to spend a few lovely days with our friends recording this album of traditional Irish music. We hope that our joy in creating this music carries over in the listening.
